Our Tuscan cuisine
The meals are served in a cozy, familiar and intimate ambience. A place to stay with friends, have fun, be relaxed and taste the dishes of our Tuscan tradition cooked with love and care.
Tuscan food is based on the Italian idea of cucina povera or “poor cooking”. Tuscan cooking doesn’t use complicated seasonings or elaborate creations because they’re not needed. Instead it’s made using fresh, high-quality ingredients that bring out the natural flavors in each dish. The cuisine is traditionally hearty and made with simple ingredients – ones easily found in the countryside – with bread, beans and roasted meats serving as the base of most traditional Tuscan meals. Therefore, we pay the greatest attention to the quality of our food products: fresh, local, organic, in season; this are our main selection criteria. In Tuscany local and homegrown is a lifestyle!
You will share the meal with other guests at the community tables with the typical Tuscan fare and plenty of local Chianti Classico. We also pay particular attention to the special dietary needs of our guests for vegetarian, vegan, macrobiotic, or anti-allergenic menus.
The reservation is required at least 1 day prior and is subject to the availability.
