Tuscan cooking classes

Learn the secrets of the Tuscan kitchen in a real one that is also well suited for teaching and hands-on participation. Guests from all over Chianti come to Fagiolari to enjoy an unforgettable experience.

Anna is delighted to share her many recipes and techniques for preparing a variety of Tuscan meals that will impress even the most experienced foodies. When you add these well-tested recipes to your collection, you will be bringing home a slice of Tuscan culinary history!

You will prepare a healthy, authentic Tuscan meal, using the freshest local and organic ingredients, which vary by season.

Numbers are limited to eight participants, so that your experience is as hands-on as possible and everyone gets a chance to try their hand at the techniques, from making fresh egg pasta dough to lovingly stirring a risotto to perfection. Larger groups can be accommodated with a little notice.

To organize a class we require a minimum of 2 people, unless in that date requested there is already a class planned that you can join.

The course will be held in English and every lesson will last about 3 hours and an Italian family-style meal with local wines will follow each class.

Fagiolari’s chefs pay particular attention to the special dietary needs of our guests with vegetarian, vegan, macrobiotic or antiallergenic menus.

Non-cooking guests are welcome to accompany cooks (there are some lovely walks to take while the meal is being prepared or they can just relax at the swimming pool) and then join in the Italian family-style meal after the class.
