Cooking classes

Giulietta is well known in Chianti for her cooking and hospitality, and is delighted to share her many recipes and techniques for preparing a variety of Tuscan meals. Learn the secrets of the Tuscan kitchen in a real one that is also well suited for teaching and hands-on participation.


The rustic kitchen easily handles up to six students; larger groups can be accommodated with a little notice. You can help plan the menu with the fresh ingredients of the local season.


Guests from all over Chianti come to Fagiolari to enjoy an unforgettable experience. Learn how to put together the right primo and secondo piatto, as well as contorno and dolce.


We usually start at 11:00 for lunch cooking classes and around 5:00 for dinner. Classes last between 2 and 2-1/2 hours, and each student gets an apron and a recipe book.


After the class… everybody at the table! (With plenty of Giulietta’s own Chianti, from grapes grown and crushed right at Fagiolari!)

Depending on your appetite—and how many menus you’d like to try—cooking classes can be arranged for 1, 2, 3 or 4 days.
